# Brand Kit Walkthrough: Set It Up Once, Look Like You Forever

Every skill in this kit starts with a brand check. If Claude finds your brand kit, your CMAs, seller updates and market reports come out in your colors, your fonts, with your logo and your voice. If it doesn't, you answer the same questions every time, or get a plain default.

This takes about 15 minutes, once.

---

## Before you start (5 minutes of gathering)

Have these ready in one folder on your computer:

- **Your website or a social profile link** where your brand shows up today
- **Your logo** (PNG with a transparent background is best) and a **headshot**. Don't know your hex codes? The logo is enough. Claude pulls your colors from it.
- **Your brokerage brand rules**, if your brokerage has them (required logo, colors, disclaimer wording)
- **Two or three things you've written** to clients: a text, an email, a post
- **Fast track: 5 to 10 pieces of past marketing you like.** Past CMAs, listing flyers, social posts. If you build in Canva, open each design and use Share → Download → PDF or PNG.

The fast track is the best shortcut in this whole kit. Claude reads your past work and learns your colors, fonts, layout and tone from it, so you skip most of the questions.

## Step 1: Install the Brand Kit Builder skill

1. Download **00-brand-kit-builder.md** from your kit page.
2. In the Claude desktop app, click **Customize** in the left sidebar, then **Skills**.
3. Click **+ Add**, choose **Upload skill**, and drop in the .md file.
4. Make sure the skill is toggled on.

## Step 2: Start the chat

Open a new chat and type:

> Set up my brand kit

Then drag in everything from your folder: logo, headshot, your past marketing samples, and paste your website link.

## Step 3: Answer the gaps

Claude asks only for what it couldn't figure out from your files: your title, phone, brokerage firm name (Colorado requires it on advertising), and how you want to come across. Missing something? Say "skip" and keep going.

## Step 4: Review your brand board

Claude builds a one-page **brand board**: your color swatches with hex codes, your fonts, your logo and contact block, a sample stat box and chart, and a paragraph written in your voice.

Ask yourself: does this look like me? Tell Claude what to change ("the gold is too yellow", "use my Instagram sign-off"). It rebuilds the board until you approve it.

## Step 5: Save the my-brand-kit skill

Once you approve, Claude writes a skill called **my-brand-kit**. Save it to your skills (Claude will offer a save button, or give you the file to upload under Customize → Skills, same as Step 1).

Keep your logo and headshot somewhere Claude can always reach, like a Claude project or a connected Google Drive folder.

## Step 6: Test it

Open a new chat and type:

> Make me a one-page market snapshot for [your city] with made-up numbers, using my brand kit.

Check the colors, fonts, contact block and voice. If anything is off, go back to the brand kit chat and fix it.

## Four rules for a brand kit that looks expensive

1. **Start with your past work.** Your website plus 5 to 10 past pieces beats starting from scratch.
2. **Three colors.** One dark, one light, one accent. No hex codes? Upload your logo.
3. **Two free fonts.** One for headings, one for everything else.
4. **See it before you save it.** Always review the brand board first.

Check your brokerage's brand rules, and always show your brokerage name.
